About the Project

The Central Terminal Area Departure and Arrival Levels Security Bollards 鈥� Phase 2 project for Los Angeles World Airports consisted of installing 2,207 K-rated bollards in the central terminal areas on the departures level and arrivals level at LAX. This project was part of enhanced security measures at LAX and further separates pedestrians from vehicles. The work was completed at night with minimal impact to traffic flow and airport operations.
